Kershaw Thermite vs Volt 2?
I currently own a Kershaw Volt 2, in my opinion the best general EDC knife I have owned with the solid quality and assisted opening. My backside is however itching to replace it with a Kershaw Thermite, a slightly larger model with the so called "spanto" style blade. Anyone with experience with the Thermite?

Re: Kershaw Thermite vs Volt 2?
I have no experience with the Volt, but I have had a Thermite. They are solid and well made for the price. Also, if you like Hinderer designs you will love it.
It carries well for its larger size, and the steel is decent. Get one, you will love it.

Re: Kershaw Thermite vs Volt 2?
Not a Thermite, but I EDC a Cryo II that was gifted to me by a good friend. Same size, handles well, framelock is really solid, and one-hand closable after some practise (it's significantly stiffer than a liner lock). The assisted opening is quick and secure. The Thermite is also a Hinderer design like the Cryo, so I can only surmise it will be of similar quality.
