I recently ordered a case gauge from shooting stuff, which is supplied by Dillon but under a different brand name, can't remember.

They also have Dillon 300 blk die sets.

From experience... I would avoid Dillon die sets.

Why, what have you found to be wrong with them?

The TC sizer die needs to be faced off so it can be set down far enough not to leave a shoulder on the head of the case. It's a real PITA when the decapping pin shaft bends... rather use Lee. Oh, and they're freakishly expensive.

That looks really good! I know the loaded ammo would be very expensive (but possibly a great option for a Suppressed SD type environment). I wonder if the projectiles would be available separately for purchase, but then again it would be cheaper to find a lower cost projectile source for suppressed volume shooting.

On a side note, I was looking at the Hornady 110gr V-Max, and 125gr HP American Gunner earlier. I would like to get some of the lighter bullets to see just how similar they are to the 7.62 x 39 in a similar weight. Coming from mainly shooting 5.56, it feels real odd having such a low velocity (I do understand that energy is the real factor in most real world shooting, and not paper punching).

Some crazy prices for quality brass out there, Norma and Hornady are about R15 a unit. I doubt this ammo will be significantly more than that?
