This is the only thing I do not like about these rifles. If you mount it with a scope, you must mount it in high rings to clear the open sights.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I had my rear sights completely removed to mount my scope as low as it could go. As it is now, it barely clears the bolt when a new load is loaded.
I see you also removed part of the front sight. It also bothered me as you can see it while looking through the scope.

Fitting the scope i knew that would have to be done.So that doesnt bother me at all.

Today I am not happy that I removed the sights. I also want to shoot in another discipline that allows only open sights. But its too late and the damage is done. I will have to buy a second .22 rifle now if I am serious about shooting in that discipline.
