Looking forward to attending a few shoots this year.

    A few questions:

    1. Last time I was there I was told I can shoot my .357 lever gun. Is this still the case? Is it ok to cycle out the magazine tube after the last round onto the ground? No way I can think off to otherwise empty it quickly.

    2. I don't have mag pouches for my LC9. Can I carry spare mags in my pockets? I'll get a outside waistband holster for the gun itself.

I only realised now that ALL the dates are on Sundays. Why is that? This will make it very difficult for me to attend...

Steel Challenge shoots are essentially organised and run by two people. Sunday is obviously the day that suits them and as the shoot requires six or so separate ranges at Cecil Payne I would imagine that Sunday would be the only day available.

Thanks. Taking into consideration the space required at the range, I now understand why a Sunday is perhaps the easiest for organisation.

We always get asked for Saturday shoots.
The last shoot last year was on both days and on Saturday we only had 15 Shooters. It obviously suits the majority to shoot on a Sunday.

Same way as you would a shotgun. Cycle all rounds out onto the ground, pull the trigger once all rounds are out and thats it.
    (Unless I am missing something?)

That is workable, does Cecil Payne have shade cloth brass catchers like the range at LIW?
