Talk to Khumba on the site. He has his saiga converted to take regular AK mags. That's the way to go

The receiver is widen slightly and a bullet guide is installed, that how I understand it. But it's a job for a gunsmith. Khumba should be able to have it done

Youtube the bullet guide thing- its just a bit of metal that can be cut from a curved bit of waterpipe, tapped and bolted in. Basically the Saiga mags' front lip is higher than a standard AK mag, so you need the guide to help 'ramp" the bullet up into the chamber.

The other difference is the thickness of the lug that engages the mag catch. Either file the lug on the back of the AK mag a bit ~1mm, or file the saiga mag catch, or just fit an AK mag catch.

EDIT: above refers to using AK mags in a 7,62 x 39 Saiga, not R4

I have a spare Saiga 7.63x39mm after market mag sitting around not doing anything. It is one of the US made SGM "Surefire" magazine (not to be confused with the Surefire LLC tactical flashlight company who make high capacity AR mags.)

This is a "Bolt Hold Open" variant. If you need a mag just say the word and I'll send it your way.
