To be honest I think it was intentional, he is the owner and also still argue with the fact that the model is wrong and is adamant that I got the right gun

Shocking to read this. Good luck with getting things resolved and sorry to hear that the GS won't acknowledge what sounds like their mistake.

Would be interested to hear which GS this was. Reason: we all make mistakes from time to time, but how you handle and resolve a mistake shows a great deal about how you treat your customers and, indeed, whether they should be supporting your business!!

Okay so here's an update for what it's worth. Phoned on Friday again and got a lot more excuse etc. Lawyer called and 10min later they refunded me the whole amount included courier costs. With a lot of apologies. Maybe it was an honest mistake, I don't think so. Was it resolved? Yes but not necessarily how I would have expected it to be resolved. Would I support them again? Doubtful. So in all I've just lost a few months in terms of months waiting for license and now having to do it all over. Looking forward to getting the right gun though.

I know of a gun shop with a M2 in stock. I was there yesterday and know for a fact it was there. Just not sure about the price. If interested pm me and I'll send you contact details.

Just an update on above for what it's worth. So Richard from suburban got me sorted on an m2 after getting my money back app went in and got refused. Figured out the previous gun wasn't taken of my name and they reckoned I don't need 2 m2's. Whether this was a cfr fault or the dodgy dealer I don't know but resubmitted after making sure previous licence was removed and are currently in consideration. So this will make it almost a whole year wait if all goes well this time around.
