    Default Battery for training collar.

The battery in the transmitter on my training collar has packed up. It's a small rechargeable 5VDC 600mA battery. I have called S&O as well as some electronic shops and just can't find a replacement.

Does anyone have a lead on where I might be able to find one wIthout having to go the import route?

Just take one of those batteries from the alarm box + some ducktape to attach to pooch.

The added weight will stop the pooch from jumping up and running away ;-)

@ OCP haha, this is for gun dog training :)

@ Bowhunter, it's a Cabellas GS8000 made by Sporting Dog

Have you taken the battery out? Is there a code on it?
