Okay but will I also gain much, given that I already have the low mounts fitted? And was that conversion worth it for you?

I also suffer from proper cheek weld syndrome. My stock choice for my rifle was the first half of the battle won. The Eurovarminter stock has a lovely cheek rise. The rail was a bit of a impulse buy and a want rather than a need. The previous setup was low enough.

With the CZs how low you can mount it is dictated by the clearance between the bolt handle and the ocular bell rather than the objective an the barrel.

How much clearance does the bolt handle have now?

If it has heaps of clearance then something like Warne or burris medium rings will mount it lower as they don't have bases and clamp directly into the dovetail.

Failing that the suggestions as above are cheek riser or change the stock.

I will check the clearance tonight, as far as I can tell, there is more than enough clearance.
I will think about the stock change, didn't plan to make this a big thing like that. But I will check it out definitely. Thanks

The advice I have always read is that the height of the scope is limited by the bolt handle when opening the bolt. If that can happen, all is good.
