Dark side of the peace- Post-WWII Retaliation against Minorities
"This documentary focuses on the extrajudicial and organized violence carried out against minorities after World War II, chiefly among them the 10,000,000+ German civilians who were expelled from Eastern Europe after the war and the at least 2,000,000 who fled under pressure from the Soviet advance."

Re: Dark side of the peace- Post-WWII Retaliation against Minorities
Its a deeply hidden part of history and a terrible atrocity (or atrocities) against the Germans which today still does not fit the mainstream (or PC?) narrative. The Germans suffered terribly and much of it was a consequence of official acquiescence, direct collaboration or policy. The Allies at the very least owe the German nation an apology.
It is testament to the remarkable character of the German people that they were able to reconstruct their lives and country as rapidly as they did after the war. Whatever the Germans may have done wrong, they paid it for it and then some. Europe would be a far lesser place without Germany and its culture.Quemadmodum gladius neminem occidit: occidentis telum est.
