Default The dreaded ping...Glock firing pin safety gone missing

Dammit! It seems my garage floor can eat fkn anything!

After yesterday's little water fiasco, I clean my Glock this morning and on reassembly the firing pin safety pops out, bounces of my chest and is forever lost it seems!

Any ideas of where I can get a new one on a Sunday?

Maroelas...Glocks are everywhere, you should be able to get a pin for it at your corner cafe when you pop down for the sunday paper.

Things happen in 3"s,you must consider donning a helmet and staying in bed till this is all over.

Hahaha! Yeah hopefully this was number 3!

Will call some shops after 9 to see of any are open today.

Haven't seen a post from TacShac, they usually post when they are open on a Sunday.

Couldn't have been. You don't remove the firing pin safety in a field strip only on a detail strip.

Hey, the YouTube video called it a field strip and you know I'm a hunter, not a handgunner. I stripped the whole slide, so yes I suppose a detail strip then.

In case of confusion, it is the little plunger and spring that slips in by the ejector.

Lay a torch on the floor and look for the shadow the thing would cast. And get a magnet on a string and drag it all around the floor, might just pick it up.
