Correct, but if I recall correctly the competitor number is allocated alphabetically based on the first list of approved competitors and not on the entry number. That is why the squad shoots more or less alphabetically. So in other words your competitor number historically did not equal your entry number on Level 3

I do not believe so. For a while (3 events) I had the same competitor number. Last 2, my number changed.

I was up first on day 1 at Welkom, even though there were other guys ahead of me alphabetically who were in the first approved list.

My competitor number was 5 (or thereabouts) ... Oops.
