10/22 Ruger target
Hi guys,
I have a 10/22 target version and I'm looking for upgrades, example extended magazine lever, bolt stops, triggers etc... Seems to be difficult to import... any advice who stocks these?

Brownells
I have my eye on a KIDD aluminum sleeved fluted bull barrel. The $350 price tag is a bit off putting

Re: 10/22 Ruger target
The Volquartsen trigger upgrade has been the only major mod to my 10/22 laminated target. Makes a huge difference. Bedding these rifles is a bit problematic, but it can be done.

Re: 10/22 Ruger target
What trigger upgrades? Been eyeing the hammer, sear, firing pin and exact edge extractor

Re: 10/22 Ruger target
The Volquartsen unit is a drop in unit. Brownells do have upgrade bits for the stock Ruger trigger unit, but the Volquartsen is regarded as the best. Plus you get an extended mag release.

Re: 10/22 Ruger target
Brownells is in the USA... I'm looking for Parts in the South Africa, Would like to do a Kidd drop in trigger, already have a bull barrel on it and it pretty accurate. The stock Target trigger is not as crisp as I hoped... Ruger stated that this is an upgraded trigger from the original 10/22. Polished the trigger sear... helped a little bit...

Yes, Brownells is in the USA.
Good luck finding anyone in SA that stocks upgrades for 10/22's on a regular basis
Don't forget the $100 limit for buying without an export/ITAR permit

Re: 10/22 Ruger target
One of the GCGs in Safari and Outdoor Stellenbosch was boasting about a tricked out 10/22. Maybe ask them?
