The mag supplied with the rifle is steel and does not fall out... Not sure why the magpull - Pmags are doing this?

    My take on this,
I own a Norinco AR15, I struggled my a$$ off to fit aftermarket parts, especially the Magpull stuff, had to use a drimmel tool on Magpull stuff to make it fit.
Visit a gun shop and take measurements of an American made rifle mag area and compare that to the Norinco's measurements.

Is it possibly an issue with the over insertion tab on the magpul gen 3.

The hole on the mag where it clips to the lower is a lot deeper on the metal mags as on the Magpull ones... I've tried to tighten the mag release and its not helping.

Might deepen the hole and see what happens, will let you know.

Try another Magpul mag in your gun and try your Magpul mag in another gun. Magpul products are very consistent in quality. I think it may be your gun and adjusting the mag release will prob resolve the issue.
