As always the shooter is the biggest strength or weakness. You can go pretty far with a Tactical. Off the top of my head without driving one in a match I think the issues would be

Biggest would be the lack of multi choke. Being able to select the right choke for the stage is a win. That said I changed chokes once this match but ran a LM chokefor all but one stage. So much tighter than cylinder.

The short barrel for me doesn't handle as well but that's a personal thing.

The shorter receiver won't load quite as easilt but not a catastrophe

Getting shooting with your gun and change if , and only if, it's your gun holding you back.

Thanks Khumba and BigT for the responses.

I had to adjust my loaders between ammo. Not ideal but workable.

What the guys using those systems generally end up doing is having a bird setup and a buck and slug setup.

Suspected as much, but that means some serious extra Randelas, if you consider the cost per holder.Did you have any issues with your holders after going prone? If I remember correctly there was one stage on the published COF that required prone.

I managed to avoid prone the whole match.

Ideally you want them out the way if you're going to lie on them.
