heard crime is really bad at sodwana

even at mapelane there were guys fishing nyoganyan by the light house and got attacked on the beach, the parksboard carry 9mm now and have security at night (mapelane)

so my advice on north coast is even when fishing edc, we do alot of night fishing for sharks

For most shore fish a piece of heavy gut (20 or 40 pounds?) was enough.

The whole week I tried at Mseni Beach Lodge. Day 1 I got either a sand shark or ray, but lost is as the hook pulled out its mouth. The 2nd day on my smaller rod got something that chomped my line clean off.

The wave garricks were quiet, but managed some breem, spotties and others using these worms I saw a local using

think 12g is more for wildlife

vidal has leopards walking about at night, guards also have 12g

    maybe same at sodwana?

Im keen on a trip to kosi soon, but ponta always pulls me over

Spent a week in Dec trying to catch something from the beach. No luck. Rather make the trip to St Lucia /Kosi/ Cape vidal / Mission Rocks etc. Sorry for bad news.... but hey, its fishing.... luck is a major factor, maybe you have more than I had

We mainly went snorkeling and swimming. For those purposes it is the perfect place and the kids loved it! I went fishing from 4am-9am
