    Nope they picked up a bunch of guys in Johannesburg, I stand corrected but it may have been Langlaagte K9, they found an AR in part of the guns found in the car that had been hijacked and linked to a number of other crimes

    my local dealer rates he sells a ton of glocks with roni conversions to the taxi security guys

    I'm not going to choose a side in this fight as I like all reliable and accurate guns.

    Looking at the security industry in general (there are exceptions) their rifles seem to be carried and banged around a lot and shot verly little. Just the opposite of what sport shooters would do with theirs. Keeping this in mind, an overweight AK-derivative might just last longer than a tricked-out sporting rifle.
