    howst guys.

So i was at the gunshop yesterday and i came across a 2nd hand Sar dashprod pump gun. Looks still in decent condition with a couple small scratches. Price tag says R5000.

I only see comments on semis on this page. Does anyone have experience with a pump and is there anything i have to look out for.

took some pics but i dont know how to post from me phone. It has a synthetic stock with picatinny rail at the back with fibre optic sights.

ill post when i get to my computer.

    thanks in advance

had my pump awhile now, changed the polymer stuff for wood

they are R5800 brand new at dave sheer as they are the importers of akkar shotguns (sar dashprod is an akkar from turkey)

for R5k id say buy a new one for R800 more

I paid R4000 two years ago brand new

I have both, picked up the semi for almost the same money as the new pump and enjoy both. But for R800 just get the new one.

    Hi folks

Thread gone quiet for a while.
I did some shooting with the SAR on the weekend and having quite a few light strikes! One out of every three, which is high!
Using Kuvhima 29G Rocky shells. Previously cycled okay, but now the SG has started light striking?? If I reload them a second time, they fire okay???
Did a thorough clean and lube before shooting, so that is not the issue...

    Any suggestions?

My semi auto also struggles with Khuvima. I will try and get different brand of ammo soon. Maybe Khuvima just has hard primers.

Oddly enough I was hovering over this thread last night with intention to post ;-)

Wanted to ask how things are going as I'm starting to once again feel the pull to the semi-auto side.
