    Default Dashprod Shotgun Owners Thread

As can be seen from my previous thread, I own the SAR Dashprod semi. After the various changes and adjustments were done, have managed to fire all types of Ammo 28gr and above.

It is a super, well priced shottie and good for starting out with DMG and, presumably, 3 Gun.

Will be following this thread with interest as am considering opening up the loading port (at bottom of the FA) so as to assist with quicker dual and quad reloading.... had anybody perhaps already done this to this tripe of FA?

Put about 400 odd (Khuvima, Imperial, NSI) 28gr through my semi.

Had a few FTE with Khuvima 28gr. Gun was straight out the box so might need to try a couple more boxes before I conclude on the ammo.

Been using one on and off for club shoots. Had no issues with 28 gr so I suspect yours might just need some lube to get it moving nicely. At the moment I am giving serious consideration to letting go of my pump and replacing it with the semi.

I also own one, have put about 500 rounds of 28gr Mellior and Imperial, SSG, LG, AAA through mine. It feeds all the hotter loads perfectly, had a couple of FTE's using no.7 shot but nothing major. I have fitted a flashlight to it, that helps a lot when hunting porcupine at night but other than that it is stock. I also had to loctite all the nuts, some came lose.

Glad to see the thread is gaining traction! Thx for input!
Also useful if you share any modifications you did or accessories fitted , what make , size etc. worked and what did not...

Don't use cheap mounting systems on it. I lost my flashlight in the veld one night, luckily i was able to find it again but it fell of when I shot, was using a spotlight at the time. The entire flashlight mount was bent and cracked, was an NCStar mount, that'll teach me... I also have a NC Shell holder on it, it mounts using velcro. I would advise against that too. I had to glue the velcro to keep it in place. The shell holder itself works fine but the velcro not so much.

Out of interest, has anyone tried fitting a Magpul SGA stock? If so, how does it fit?
