Default Pet friendly outdoor intrusion detection

Our setup is as follows, staying on 1 Ha plot, two jackies are sleeping inside.
Pitbull, lab and africanis sleep outside.
Plot is fully enclosed with electric fencing.
In the area the criminals are digging underneath the electrical fences and crawling around to not trip the dual beam pet friendly sensors.
So far I haven't gotten good response from security companies to solve this problem.
Any recommendations for a pet friendly solution that can discriminate between dogs and humans crawling?

    Difficult one.
    I'll work on it.

The easiest solution is to create an enclosure for the pets close to the house and then go with normal sensors throughout the remainder of the property.

Hi bmeagle.Similar problem, although not on the same scale as your property, with 'people' digging underneath the palisade fencing, which had an electric fence on top of it.
A friend had access to one of those mini trench diggers and we dug all around to a depth of about one metre.
I then hired a cement/concrete mixer and after a lot of sand/cement/gravel (and hard work) we built a below ground barrier all around the property.
Bonus...the neighbours' weeds also no longer pay us a visit.
Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.
    Regards.
    Keith.

I'm considering getting creative with Zoneminder, opencv and a pi zero with a camera to see if I can optically distinguish between the two.

Some thoughts. Please correct my assumptions:
Perimeter is roughly 400 metres. House is roughly centred on property.
    1. My first thought is to detect digging noise. 400 metres of microphonic cable required.
    2. Dog audible buzzer. Sensitize dogs to this. Use non-pet-friendly sensors to trigger buzzer to alert dogs.
    3. Fine tune sensors so that dog won't trigger, but crawling human will.
    4. Proximity device on dogs' collars to disable sensing by non pet friendly sensors.

These 3 points are in order of preference / applicability.

    Regards

Could try a CCTV camera with motion detection and an alarm input/output. The motion detection on most cameras is stupidly sensitive and can be toned down. Connect the alarm output to a buzzer and only activate when needed.

Look at Hikvision. I have 5 cameras (IP) and an NVR and also setup a VPN through a Pi 3 to monitor off-site on my smart phone. Ties in with my Paradox alarm system.
The cameras with alarm outputs are pricier. You don't really need an NVR and can make do with a POE hub (if you go IP) and software.

Paradox DG85 has pet immunity up to 40kg's.
I have them setup that my +-50kg Rotti does not trigger them.
They are still good for picking up people, only tested from about 65kgs though.
You will never have an impenetrable fortress and I accept the risk of a smaller person getting by versus the increased risk of complacency due to false alarms.

Thanks. I wil look into these sensors, my heaviest dog is 40 kg, one small person is less to worry about, couple of bgs crawling shouldn't get past undetected.
