Job Shadow: Field Guide/Nature conservation

My son is currently in Grade 11 and is looking at the possibility of studying towards a career in nature conservation (field guide, anti-poaching, zoology, botany etc) He would like the opportunity to possibly job-shadow during school holidays, so that he can get an idea of what it all entails.

Is there anybody that I can contact that can assist us or give us information with regards to the above.
