This was my first nationals and first event larger than a league. It was freaking fun.

Thanks to the organisers, squad 9 and everyone who attended for a very competitive shoot

Forgive me for being the negative voice...

That darn espresso stall queue! 45 minutes for two coffees, they could have done with at least three staff. Luckily my wife (non contestant) accompanied me and could get the cappucino while I started shooting.

The match was excellent. My first as well so I cannot compare, but we had a blast in squad 1.

    Well well well.. :-)

    CCP - 6th place overall

CCP SS - Top sharpshooter overall and only 10 EX (ESP and SSP) that beat him.

Hope to see some more CCP shooters at champs.

Well done to all contestants, this was a fun but challenging two days!

a big shout out to John, the MDC team, all SO's and sponsors for making this match possible and extremely well organized.

Squad one - Go For It.. The underdogs.. Thanks for making my weekend short and full of laughter whilst taking 8 medals. most fun i had in years!

I was surprised by how many (at least three) shooters walked past me on the range, mumbling: "Wow, this is a lot of fun". I'm almost sure they were talking about the match.

Agreed, There are some great shooters in CCP. I shot SSP this Nationals with a relatively okay result, But im strongly considering CCP for Africa Champs, Its a great Div and i enjoyed shooting it last year.

Started scanning through some of the Quickshot Action Photo's.

I reload way too slowly. In one photo you can see a shooter with the extracted case next to the slide, slide back, finger off the trigger, support hand already withdrawing the mag from carrier. And no it was not a strong hand only stage.
