For many years it was custom to hand out cloth bags to hunters attending the Vaal Triangle SAH annual rocky shoot. Ladies specially made the bags and they were handed to you at registration on the morning of the shoot. Costs thereof and a meal included in your fee for the day. Sort of placed an obligation on the hunter to use it for empty shells and even a pigeon or 2.

Ja, I see that all the time here in Alberta - hulls, coffee cups, food wrappers etc. left in fields and at wetlands after waterfowl hunts. Guys then whine and complain when they lose access...

best way forward would be to name and shame idiots like this

same should have gone for the assholes who after two castle lagers tried to show off by driving up sand dunes etc on beaches..... yes if you are one of those who did that, my generation would personally like to thank you for ruining it for us.

If I had names or pictures, I would already have.

I have no time for people that litter, period.

My father told me,"the only thing you leave in the veld is footprints" and I all ways keep that in mind when I go out, and I taught the same thing to my son.

Many people do whatever they can get away with so no amount of pleading will help.

Similar thing happened with adventure motorcycles - people did not respect property and now many farmers are much less friendly.

I think it is just the modern world we live in. Discipline went out the window in all facets of society a long time ago. You only have to look around to see that. Maybe bring back military training again. That would wake a good few people up.
