Its a load that you have , hopefully, function tested. With excellent QC and performance.

Just to put the above highlighted words into context for those that doubt the gravity of what T is saying...

I recently went to the range to convert all the old carry ammo (my own and that of my wife) into competition brass. And I decided that I would do so through my newest CZ 75. (The kind that never breaks or malfunctions EVER if you believe some tales)

'Turns out that specific CZ fails to eject with almost every second Winchester Silvertip that works flawlessly in 7 other 9mm pistols currently in our household. Only the Silvertips, everything else works fine.

Don't EVER trust a gun with ammo that you cannot afford to test at least a few hundred of, in that specific gun.

Ranger T's FTW ! Very happy with the 127's, would like to test some 147's in the near future though

In the same boat, would love the test some heavier loads in my g17, saw DSG advertise 150gr Federal HST on their site, wonder how heavy they can go??

That's probably the heaviest weight for 9mmP, but its a slow round - designed with short barrels in mind (3 to 3.4 inches). It's about 85 FPS slower than the 147gr HST standard pressure in a 3.42 inch barrel.
