Hi guys,

Today's poll, have you had handgun training ?

I'm talking about a real training from guys like BigT or Ross, etc.
And competency training doesn't count.
And watching Youtube videos and then practicing at the range doesn't count either.

Big deal. I trained with someone who did all of that. What's more, my guy came second in some sort of national shotgun shit as well and managed to download himself out of a national IDPA shoot. Beat that! I've also seen him do wonderful things while re-holstering.

Regular training with your handgun is crucial.

Watching YouTube videos is not even nearly enough. Nothing replaces real world training.

Yes, way back in the late 90's I did ITA's basic and advanced handgun courses. Since then I've basically been trained by the internet

I got some training from Ross.
Was so good I've been twice. One of the other guys (According to Ross) has gone for the same course 11 times now over the years.
