Re: IPSC Laziness
Let them patch their targets and reset the stage themselves when it's their turn to shoot.

Re: IPSC Laziness
This ^^^
Had the issue with a particular shooter who was stealing everyone's brass while they were patching and resetting. So the RO arranged for everybody to pick up brass and no patching / resetting when "mr. Nice Guy" got his turn. When he complained, he was told "It's your turn to patch". Everyone had a good laugh. Some people don't get any friendly hints...

Re: IPSC Laziness
The tyre house stage at the last nationals had the model we should adopt for all matches.
Every shooter resets for the two shooters before them. So basically two people reset the entire stage. But each shooter only does it twice.
Stops the lazy useless shit's who do nothing from being able to do nothing and ensures everyone else actually gets some down time.

Re: IPSC Laziness
At nationals we had a senior RO in our squad and she was the laziest of the bunch. Stood with her large body at the back of the stage looking at everyone else working. It became so bad that I unfortunately had to drop some nasty words around the person she brought with and all of the sudden a while later she started helping.

Re: IPSC Laziness
Reading the complaints here....
So in the interests of not ending up being THAT guy, and I'm keen to have a go at IPSC/IDPA. What is considered good etiquette?

Re: IPSC Laziness
Patch/pick up brass for at least half the detail
When on second standby, you get in the zone
After shooting, clean your mags, load them and hydrate
Then get off your ass and help out
Repeat
