Re: Best optic combo for 3 gun nation and rifle national shoots
Agreed, Dont scrimp on glass for rifle nationals.
However, if you not going to shoot Rifle Nationals then I reckon a 2 MOA should be fine.

A 1-6/8 scope is your only option in my opinion
Add an offset later if you wish
With that AR a Swaro or Razor will suit it well

Re: Best optic combo for 3 gun nation and rifle national shoots
nope...not to my knowledge. have used the Razor RDS since 2013 on various setups/ARs.
the scratches on edges/finish is from general wear.
the squad I was in.....Swaro 1-6x/1-8x was pretty much the norm, there was also a Kahles 1-5x (French shooter) and afaik one guy's Meopta, the reticle broke/moved towards end of 2nd day and ruined the match for him. also saw a few tasty Zeiss V8 with 36mm main tube!!!

Re: Best optic combo for 3 gun nation and rifle national shoots
Do you guys with variables set the magnification before a stage or on the fly? Are the quick throw levers for on the fly adjustments?

Re: Best optic combo for 3 gun nation and rifle national shoots
Urabus, that is beautiful!
When I said newbie with rifle, I meant it :)
I am still waiting for license so no idea as to how accurate she is or any feeding problems. I am assuming that you ask because you have heard others having this problem?
Thanks for the help
