    Done an dusted. Mistakes were made and lesson were learned. Plunge lines need to be better and need to figure out the bevel thing. Building the jig Erebus suggested tomorrow. How do I add photo from phone... Mmm Will try tomorrow from computer

    Nice. I've made my own and it was very satisfying. I now have (almost) the knife I have always wanted.

    Here is the finished article.

    I didn't spend a lot of time on the handle.

    Started the next one yesterday. A bit longer in the blade.

    Built myself the gough jig as recommended. For the moment it is working well.

    Looking good, the first one is always a bit rough especially with files only.

    You will notice improvements with every subsequent knife you make.
