Default Winchester model 61 .22 cycling problems

    Hi all

I need some advice on parts for the above rifle please, the rifle struggles to cycle. It doesn't grab the round properly and sometimes feeds more than one round.
From this I deduct that the cartridge cutoff is worn and also probably the lower extractor. It ejects cartridges fine.

Does anyone know if these parts would be available locally? If so where do I start looking?

Also are they pretty easy to replace myself? I'm no expert but I've walked past a toolbox or two so I'm confident to try and sort it myself first.

    Thanks in advance.

Nearly all parts for the Win 62 are available from Numrich

Thanks for that, do they ship to SA? How much paperwork do you have to go through to get gun parts into the country?

No problem at all earlier this year - so long as total package is less than $100 cost - Federal rule. USPS is normally $35 and then VAT this end (sometimes)
