Re: Flu
This is you specialty here bud, I've recently changed from Flugon to Viral Guard what side effects have you found to be most common?
And lastly, if you don't mind, that Echinacea does it really work? If so whats the best one to use?

Re: Flu
This year's strains seem to be particularly nasty. I had it, was in bed for three days (over a long weekend, of course). Then my wife and daughter got it. Wife was out for 2-3 days as well. 3 year old daughter barely sniffled, I wish I had an immune system like hers!
This week, four of the execs at work have been out the whole week. My mom also put in two consecutive days of sick leave for the first time ever.
I know there's nothing one can do about a virus, just need to hang in there while your immune system fights it off. I've found that Benylin 4 Flu, the syrup, really helps with the symptoms. Tastes awful and makes you drowsy, but my fever went from just below 40 to normal within ~2-3 hours and it sorted out my nose and throat too.
Good luck everyone, and speedy recovery to the afflicted.

Re: Flu
Mr Medic, I do apologise. I was on GS in between work and mistook your Viral Guard for Viral Choice.
It is the viral choice I had in mind. ( easy to overcome the side effects by just pulse dosing it, 1-2 weeks on and the 3 -4 weeks off)
264win, side effects are still there but I think fewer people experience it.live out your imagination , not your history.

Re: Flu
Got my flu shot earlier in the year.
About 4 weeks ago I got a cold, thought I'd just ride it out. Lots of Vit C, B, mucolitics etc. After two weeks the whole shebang got infected, and then moved down into my lungs. Antibiotics, and it's now cleared up.

Re: Flu
Vit C about 2000 mg per day for 5 days. ( don't go ape shit)
Rather have the vit C via fruit and juices.
The correlation or claims of vit C and prevention of colds and flu is not conclusive.live out your imagination , not your history.
