You evidently don't. The fee was raised because no-one made money on the old amount. No-one pockets much after a Nationals and at least two provinces that I am aware of have declined to host a Nationals because they either make too little, or, have one or two unforseen costs and make nothing or even a loss. That said, I am also seriously rethinking just how many Nationals I will shoot after this one.

He is calling BS on your statement that some guys is pocketing 200k.

Which has been challenged above as well.

    What he said. ^

I would suggest that you refrain from making allegations without substantiated proof. No individuals within SAPSA or the regional affiliated bodies make any money in their personal capacity.

Yeah look, in our group of friends we've also had a long discussion on the R1000 issue.

I've subsequently decided that I will probably be shooting less nationals, leagues and clubshoots in order to divert the funds to practice in an effort to try and make 2019 the nationals year which then gives you a go at a World Shoot.

Have to agree with this statement. Engel, as a IPSC member you are allowed to sit on SAPSA meetings as well as delegate meetings in your province. Take the time and join a meeting the next time a budget is discussed for a shoot.

The difference in price between what this nationals costs and the last one won't buy you a dinner outside a take away.
