Used on revolver front sight ramps where they are plain black. Does the job.

My revolvers are all from the 80's

I see there is also a Guy in Bloem selling sight paint with a hardener.... Considering my gun is also from way back when..... I might just try some.

I still do (!). My brother lost the front site paint-blob on his P07 two weeks ago. He doesn't have the cash to drop on new sights right now so I removed the rear dots (blobs) and filled the front site paint-blob recess with Bright Sight paint. he now has a proper/good enough site picture. Total cost = Two earbuds a few toothpicks about 5ml of nail polish remover to clean surfaces and less than .25 ml of paint.

I also used it on my police issue Beretta (Bareta/Breda/Barret)? when the original sight paint turned a cancerous brownish piss yellow shade. Great stuff for if/when replacing sights is not an option.

I got mine from Rescomp a few years back.

I was happy with the product. They made a "ghost glow" that you charge with a torch and it glows in the dark.

Saw it priced as over R500 back in January on Gunsite, while nailpolish is probably R100.

Is it really that much better than nail polish ?
All the reviews on Amazon show it to be difficult to use, and not ideal : https://www.amazon.com/Truglo-Paint-...p_only_reviews

Ordered some from the Guy and it is on it's way to me. Will let you know. Thoughts are to have a fibre for day and a glow ring for night......
