If its not to much of a hijack, I now since I started with this h/gun thing have a few open sight guns. I was wondering what the mechanics of good iron sights are - why do some cost 1500, what makes them better, the theory behind it all. I with older eyes have tried the bright colors and found them to be just that bright, not necessarily clearer. I had a set machined to bigger gaps and found that better. So what makes a good sight and why is it more costly ?.
Been Googling, but can not find a decent unbiased answer.

Anyone have some of this sight paint laying around who would be willing to share 2 dabs on a BHP rear sight?

My old man had a FO front fitted quite a few years ago, but with his ageing eyes, he is battling to line up quickly with the rear sight. Thinking a dab of this might help a bit?

    Good morning Gents

If there is anyone that can help me improve the sights on my Z88 it will be greatly appreciated. I am in Benoni. Sights are faded. Don't need no glow in the dark stuff but just to get the sights visible again will be great

    Thank you

Black permanent marker works well on the short-term.
