Help Finding Accu Shot Monopod
Need some help finding the following.
Just recently as in yesterday I received my new Chasis for my 308.
Now I would desperately like to fit the last piece of my build puzzle by adding a rear monopod.
I need a Rail mounted one. Preferably the Accu Shot Bt12 qk.
But Im struggling to locate one locally.
Dave Sheer and Hailstorm currently out of stock. Seems about month they say.
Anyone possibly know who might by accident have one in a shop.
A month feels so long.
Thanks

Re: Help Finding Accu Shot Monopod
Thanks. I did in fact speak to Cobus. At Matoska. But they also seem to be out of stock.
Trying to get a dealer who might have bought one in as stock from them.
But i guess its an item most will only get in on request.
Couple of Cape Town shops I phoned I first had to explain what rear monopod is. lol
They all refer back to shooting sticks.

Re: Help Finding Accu Shot Monopod
It should not be classed as a firearm part. I got mine direct from Accushot.

Re: Help Finding Accu Shot Monopod
Not to tell you what to do but a good rear bag will serve you better than a monopod. Too much fuss getting them adjusted just so and as conditions change you must readjust. With a good rear bag it is much faster.
Granted, if all you are ever going to do is shoot a certain distance from a certain position, a monopod might be okay. But take a look at any of the current competition long range/PRS shooters and see how many monopod's are employed. Same for Mil and LE snipers.
Your gun, your happiness.......not for me to kill your groove.......just offering a different perspective. I imagine in SA they are not cheap either.
