No thanks; I will keep my M4's. For one thing Mini14s are running $800-900 US dollars with $35 magazines.
M4's are $500 with $11 Magpul magazines. Get a M4 and 10 mags and use the $640 you saved for tac training.
And he compared it to a M14 or a M1A, what a joke.

He does mention that he still prefers the AR but the Mini-14 does some things better.
Which, if you find an accurate one, with magazines that work, and spare parts it can.

I fondled one with that folding stock (as seen on A-team) in a local shop the other day.

I really like the Mini14 ever since I was a kid watching the A-team.
Would I buy one, most probably at some stage.
Right now my AR ticks all the boxes for my club shoots.

The AC556 (AC stands for automatic carbine) can mostly be distinguished from the Mini 14 by the bayonet lug and of course the select fire trigger group.
Must say I always found the stripping and reassembly of the darn things a real pain and schlep compared to AKs or any of the R series rifles.
My personal take on them is that this is one of those concepts that looks good on paper and the movies, but sucks a bit in real life.
