    I prefer using slugs and we cast our own.


    I love hunting in the day time. Typical terrain we find them in.

    How do you hunt them in the day time? dogs?

    What area is this? They seem to have longer snouts than the ones we get down here.

    Yes they do seem to have longer snouts, looks coastal, venture East coast side.

    KZN. We use dogs to track them but we also run into them in the maize fields.

    What is the average distance of the shots? Do you use the shottie only on follow ups?

    Most shots are within 25m. I have tested the slugs out to 70m and they perform well.
