Not sure if you guys watch LIVEPD or have seen any episodes. It's basically like COPS but filmed live for 3 hours every Friday and Saturday night. They have camera crews that ride along with various units in different states. It gives a good perspective on how the different agency's work and the different scenarios they encounter.

Here is quite an intense one when the camera crews were riding along with the Tulsa Gang Unit.

I remember reading a story many years ago by an ex bodybuilder whose apartment was raided looking for 'roids. He said the cops coming in were clearly very good clients of the dealers.
