Re: Ruger Gunsite scout feedback
I have the Scout Rifle in question and have been hunting with it for he past 2 years, probably shot around 50+ animals with it from Warthogs to Eland and it works like a charm from 10m - 256m, anything further becomes a little bit difficult because of the scout scope.
The only downside with this rifle is the sound, it is proper loud.
I have been hunting with ear protection ever since and installed a muzzle brake and silencer combo on this rifle.

Re: Ruger Gunsite scout feedback
I hope you EDC a hi capacity handgun. I think that is the most logical starting point.

Re: Ruger Gunsite scout feedback
Guys thanks for the feedback, I have given it some thought and will try to formulate a plan to keep the LM or AR should I decide to swop.
I still like the look of the scout though!

Is it possible to repost this attachment ?
I have an Ishapore 2A1 that needs a new stock and the barrel has already been cut to scout length and threaded l figured the best use of it would be to convert it to a scout rifle.
Which direction should I look locally for a stock
to start with the process?

Re: Ruger Gunsite scout feedback
I would keep the LM. If I could not own a LM I would rather get a lever gun in 45/70 like a marlin 1895 sbl with a red dot sight. My very limited 2c.
