Re: New or second hand
The PO7 is a great option for the price, my wife loves hers. A good friend just got himself a PO7 at the SO special price. That's what we paid about 2 years back.

Re: New or second hand
Went to the gunshop today to check out the postols i have in mind.
They had a cz75B, P09 and P07 gen2.
I realy like the looks of the polymer guns but after fondling them a bit i fell in love with the B.
The P09 would have been a good choice but its allmost as high as it is long. The P07 would be better for EDC but this one NIB already showed signs of frame bulge to be....i could by squeesing it move the frame...not cool.
The B on the other hand fit my hands perfect. It just feels right.
I know a lot of you guys are gonna say that a steel pistol is hell to carry but alot of other guys will say that they dont have a problem with it. I am 6'1" and weigh 105kg, never tuck any shirt and think that i will get away with the B as a CCW.
My friends dad bought one NIB 1998 when he was doing patrols with the comandos. Its been a safe queen ever since he quit and he guaranteed me that this weapon hasn't seen 100 rounds. And for R5k i dont think i can do any better.
Thanks for your input guys...now to do competency training, police competency then license.
Cant wait to hit the range...well i'm gonna have too...but i dont wanna

Re: New or second hand
Could you tell me more about the frame bulge you noticed on the PO7?

Re: New or second hand
I can guarantee you'll be wishing you bought the P07 within a month of carrying the 75.

6 out of 6 members of my family have switched from cz75 to either glock 19 and Sig 226. Most can now edc and not just have safe queens.

Re: New or second hand
Right there were the rough thumpad is on the frame under the slide release. I squeezed it and saw it moving. I then removed the slide and uppon closer inspection i saw a tiny gap there more however on the one side. When i put some pressure on it i pressed oil out of the gaps...now that looked exactly like the video i saw that explained the "frame bulge" of the P07.... Did the same to the P09 and found no such looseness

Re: New or second hand
Your choice.
At least the 75 will make a lekker sport gun when you get a more comfortable EDC pistol when you get gatvol of the weight.
