Honeywell 5440 safe - does it comply with the Firearms Control Act?

Thank you to everyone that helped out. The box says it complies with SANS 953-1, so I guess I'm fine.

The 953-1 requirement is for a 6 mm door. Yours is 3 mm. Never mind, the box says everything is OK! Huh?

I'm not one to question the box. ;-) I probably mismeasured, because with safes, as with life, I normally come up short. It might have been a combination failure caused by a dark corner, a stiff knee, a dodgy torch, bent back, my wife's measuring tape and an exposed ass that contributed to a skewed assessment.

In this life I know two things for sure: I'm always wrong. My wife is always right. The box says I'm fine. ;-)
