Good on him, going to forward this article to EVERYONE on my list (and GFSA suck management!).

I know the outcome very much depends on the cops that arrive at the scene but if you look at what has been happening for years when people defend themselves it is hard to believe. I think it's great that he is not getting charged but it is very difficult to justify shooting someone that was fleeing and not putting anyone's life in direct danger...that's all.

BB, you're dead right... we have become conditioned to expect no help from the boys in blue.

Coupled with the almost daily reporting of police criminality and the condonation of this criminality by the system (cops still on duty despite being charged, etc) kinda leads to a loss of respect and trust.

Setting this right is the job of the good cops. They have a mountain to climb to win back the confidence of the citizens.
