    Default Movie: DUNKIRK

    Beautiful set and excellent casting.
330 K of the 400 K men rescued is an amazing achievement.
In this age with so much more information on hand
Why absolute no mention of 10 percent deliberately officially abandoned? Why not even a mention of this even as a last line of the credits
Many of the 400K were there because of the efforts of the 10 % that were deserted by the brass in London.

I am not surprised but we must never forget.

    Watched it this week.
Great movie if you know the historic context of it.
    Really enjoyed watching it.

For anyone wanting to go see it as a Action war movie. Do not go. It is not an action war movie.

    It is not a documentary.
    It is entertainment.

Well made but Nolan does make good stuff.

Well to judge by that movie about a thousand men were evacuated from Dunkirk, it gave absolutely no indication of the scale of the evacuation.

    Disappointing.

That was my first impression. I don't think it accurately portrayed the chaos that must have been the order of the day there. Did you see the crates packed nicely on the beach :)
