FTE Remington 870

Good day

Yesterday I took my recently acquired Remington 870 Magnum Express to the range. I had no problems with 7 1/2 Bird shot. But anything larger resulted in consistent failure to extract. Different types of ammo from AAA to SSG and different manufacturers, same story.

Any advice ?

Off topic:- the Rem870 forum is really a treasure trove for any info on 870's. It's not a super active forum but the old posts and the blog have great info.

Chamber polish is the way to go. Made a huge difference on my mossberg that used to be quite picky about ammo.
