    On the Zhukov, yes, you can manipulate the safety off.

    Awesome man, I love the setup. I definitely want to build myself a compact rifle and was between this setup with a folder or a 10.5" ar. Still deciding...

    Having been through the conversion process to accept a Zhukov once already, I've opted to convert my underfolding M92 to a M4 style collapsible stock, at least for now. I can still go the more permanent route of installing a custom-fitted AKM trunnion and welding receiver holes closed later if necessary.

    It was pretty easy but Southern Sky Operations fitted it.

    It is a little in the way but the safety can still be used. The stock can be opened just a little if its in the way.
