    Yes they do have done it worked like a charm. The idea was to make a home made shot dripper that part did not work like a charm.

    Update:
    I have a small oven stove with a busted stove plate. I replaced it with a 2000W plate and replaced the switch so it can go full power. It melted the lead, but not enough to flux and cast it.

    Then I tried a 2000W open coil cooker. It worked better, but the lead in the middle melts good and the outer lead semi melts.

    So both are a bust for me.

    I will build a small custom gas jet powered cooker next.

    I just use a Ricoffy can cut at about 4 inches on a gas cooker, the cheap Cadac one. Till I buy the Lee pot.

    I have a lee casting pot, but need a better option for melting big amounts of scrap lead so I can flux and cast clean lead ingots for use in the lee pot.

    In a previous life I had a Lee pot and the Lee ingot mould. The Lee ingots fit perfectly one on either side of the pintle valve.

    Yes. I currently cast in a 8 cavity small bread pan and fill them halfway. Fits perfectly.
