Integrally suppressed AR's, specifically the DD M4 ISR
What can you tell me about an integrally suppressed AR?
Are they a bitch to clean, are they high maintenance etc?
Will I struggle to find ammo to cycle it?
Perhaps Deon would know more about this specific model:

Re: Integrally suppressed AR's, specifically the DD M4 ISR
UBestRi, I'm still quite uneducated in this area, but can tell you what I know:
I was lusting after the DD M4 ISR for ages, but for the price, and apparently the difficulty in obtaining in SA.
I opted instead for http://www.bravocompanymfg.com/speci...ackout_kmr.php
then to be most likely retro-fitted with the following suppressor:
http://www.aseutra.fi/s-series-sl8i-...blk-suppressor
and there's quite a bit discussed in the following thread that should answer your questions:

Stan got it right! City Guns tried to bring these in some years ago. They made quite a few people excited about it. It never happened due to US restrictions if my memory serves me!

It's a tragedy that we can't get them here. I was all set.

Re: Integrally suppressed AR's, specifically the DD M4 ISR
Getting suppressors out of the US for civilians is pretty much a no go.
