I wonder if Glock simply pays the US shooters so much, or if Vogel's Glock is actually a match for the top-end CZs?

Would he do even better with top-end CZ?

USPSA doesn't have the same equipment rules as IPSC. Glocks can be a bit more competitive under their ruleset

Vogel used to shoot an STI. GLOCK don't pay him. He's not part of Team GLOCK. He chooses what he shoots.

If he felt he would shoot better with something I assume he would buy one and shoot it.

Vogel won a World Shoot in Production with a G17. IPSC not USPSA

True, but Vogel is a beast. I don't think all the US Glock shooters would choose a Glock if they had to shoot in IPSC

I don't think they'd all agree on a restaurant either. But it shows it's doable. And at that level they're all Beasts.

The latest images I have seen of Vogel's G35 for Standard Div is very heavily modified. He has a brass mag well on it and a weight on the frame that he made from a rail mounted flashlight housing filled with lead. The latest I see he has also added some weights on the front of the slide as well. Standard will be the division to watch this World Shoot for sure.

    Magtech 9mm was about R250/50

    Barnaul was less

Gun rental is 1000 rubles a day I think. So about 220
