    Default Production grip rules

So I originally thought thumb relief on a set of grips was a big no-no. Then I see a thread by vince pinto saying that the swells on the lok grips were not right.

Which results in me being quite confused.

Can someone look at this thread: http://ipsc.invisionzone.com/index.p...henning-grips/

    And let me know:

    1) Are the Henning grips allowed for a Shadow?

    2) Status of thumb relief?

    3) Status of palm swells?

Any info in helping clear this up would be much appreciated.

Not 100% sure on the Henning grips themselves. Seem to remember them being G10 versions of the DAA's
    Thumb relief, No
Palm swell, Yes. Follows the contour of the OFM supplied grip with the pistol

But in the aforementioned three VP says was swells not mag relief. Thus my confusion. I remember reading the original Lok grip thread.

re-reading the thread Vince Pinto seems to think that palm swells are fine AND mag relief cuts on aftermarket grips are "GTG" .... reasoning

I'm not willing to reverse an earlier decision because people already spent money on grips with the mag release relief cuts.

Now you see my confusion. In another thread says problem is mag relief. Here he says palm swells.

Well .. he VP said that palm swells are eyeballed so if it's not totally outta OEM spec it's fine and mag reliefs are GTG.

No confusion you've got the link as proof of anyone and I mean anyone every questions you.

Safer yet upload the ones you want and ask his again.
