Re: Taking over a Z88 and other questions...
I think you missed my point...and SSP's.
Guns that "don't feel right" is sort of a joke on GS. If you state "I'm not a Glock fan" around here, you should be prepared to state why. "It doesn't feel comfy / isn't stylish/fashionable enough / doesn't feel good in the hand" is usually the reason offered by people who are not knowledgeable about what a pistol should or shouldn't be.
If I could only have one gun, it would be a Glock. The majority of my guns are Glocks...

Re: Taking over a Z88 and other questions...
I EDC carried an all metal, full size, CZ85B for close to 15years. When I switched to plastic about 2 years back I immediately wished I'd done it sooner.
Yip carrying a big heavy gun all day is possible but it's torture. Go plastic for EDC you will thank yourself later.Don’t take life too seriously, no one gets out alive.

Really? I thought that was practically a
prerequisite for being a member here
Seriously though, I have only fired a few rounds with a G17 and G19, and it just doesn't feel right. I'm sure I could improve that with some new, meatier grips. Out the box, the CZ P09 "feels" better in my hands, and the Beretta has a better trigger action. Sorry, I don't own a FA, so not sure of all the correct termiology, and not 100% sure what exactly I should be looking for. The only points I am sure of, is that it must be composite, compact and 9mm.
It does look like Glock has good after-sales service, and nice choice on accesories, which does make it an attractive choice.
I am definitely planning on shooting as many different guns as possible, I want to be sure of my choice.
