Not a weapon mounted light but the S2R Baton I bought from Duane gets used a lot! More than once I have been gotten up at an ungodly hour to check on my 1YO or investigate a noise. The S2R is 1000 luminosity, either my eyes are broken or the sudden daylight doesn't effect me to the point I can't see. Sure it takes a second to adjust but that would be the same with any torch.

An actual helpful tip with a high lumens light is. When you need light in room.
To look for something. But kids or wife is sleeping.
Shine it at ceiling. It lights up the hole room with a soft light.
Easy to see stuff then. And does not upset people.
Dont use this with intruder.
