Re: Adventure motorcycling
Samanjo, what bike is that, can't see so well from here, Triumph Tiger?
I'm a fellow enthusiast from Cape Town with a 2011 BMW F800GS, that has seen a lot of the Western & Eastern Cape + Southern Namibia.

Re: Adventure motorcycling
Just got back from a little trippie to the Drakensburg did just over 1400km in three days was absolutely bliss!
I have a Yamaha Teneré 660Z eats whatever road I throw at it with a smile.

Re: Adventure motorcycling
After I zoomed way i to your pic, I could make out that it actually looks like a 2015 F800GS.
The crash bars were a bit misleading. Which ones are they?
You're def riding the right machine there
More pics?
+ another great bike I woudn't mind owning.
This might be a good thread for "show me yours, show you mine"

Re: Adventure motorcycling
She is a 2013 F800 and a pleasure to ride
I used to ride an XT660R but I am so happy I made the move to a parallel twin....long stretches of tar is now actually a pleasure to ride
The 660R only had a 5 speed gearbox and the revs were quite high when travelling highway speed

Re: Adventure motorcycling
Spent a year in the Western Cape and bought a BMW for commuting and adventure touring. Saw so many beautiful places and the people were very biker friendly. Without it i would not seen a fraction of the beautiful western cape.
